Dear patient families,
We are writing to share an important update regarding your child’s care at Blue Fish Pediatrics.
Dr. Elizabeth Hall will be transitioning out of our practice, and her last day seeing patients in the office will be April 15, 2026. Dr. Hall is opening a pediatric clinic separate from Blue Fish Pediatrics, allowing her to continue serving families in the Houston community in a new capacity. While she will be missed, we support her decision and wish her continued success in this next chapter.
Dr. Hall has asked that we share the following message with her patient families:
“To say that caring for your children has been one of the greatest honors of my life would not adequately capture the humbling privilege it has been to care for the children in my practice at Blue Fish Pediatrics. Watching your children grow—from newborn visits to school-age milestones—has been an overwhelming joy! Thank you for trusting me with their care, their stories, and their wellbeing. This community has shaped me profoundly, both as a physician and as a person.”
To help ensure a smooth and timely transition of care, we kindly ask that families do not call the office regarding this matter. Instead, please review the options below and email your preference to memorial_reception@bluefishmd.com so our staff can best assist you. Families with appointments scheduled after April 15, 2026, will be contacted over the next two months to assist with rescheduling, in order of their scheduled appointment date.
Your Options for Ongoing Care
A. I would like to continue care at Blue Fish Pediatrics – Memorial location.
- Drs. Malek, Reinhackel, Zeng, Tedja, Lindsay, Torn, Pielop, and Jung are available to assume care for Dr. Hall’s patients as long as there is space available in their patient panel.
Please email us by March 2, 2026 to confirm that you would like to continue care at the Memorial location with your top three doctor preferences. If we do not hear from you by that date, your child will be assigned to one of the above physicians to ensure continuity of care.
B. I would like to transfer care to another Blue Fish Pediatrics office.
- Families may review physician profiles at www.bluefishmd.com and select another Blue Fish Pediatrics provider. Please email us by March 2, 2026 to confirm your selected physician and appointment availability.
C. I would like to learn more about Dr. Hall’s new direct pediatric care practice.
- Families who wish to learn more about Dr. Hall’s new practice, The Village Pediatrics, may visit thevillagedirectpediatrics.com or contact her directly at Drlibby@yourpedivillage.com.
We appreciate the trust you place in Blue Fish Pediatrics and specifically Dr. Hall, and we remain committed to providing high-quality, compassionate pediatric care. Our team looks forward to supporting your family through this transition and continuing to serve your child’s healthcare needs.
Sincerely,
Blue Fish Pediatrics
