Dr. Palak Patel was born in India and raised in Austin, Texas. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas with a dual major in Neuroscience and Biology in 2012. She then proceeded to UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas to obtain her medical degree. After medical school, she moved to Florida to complete her pediatric residency training at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. During her residency she was awarded the Allen Root Award for Continuous Excellence in Residency, Continuity Clinic Resident Excellence Award, and Excellence in Professionalism Award. She became board certified in pediatrics in 2019 and recently worked for Texas Children’s Urgent Care where she became proficient in caring for minor childhood emergencies.
Dr. Patel met her husband in medical school while playing basketball for an intramural team. Together they love to travel, bike, cook new recipes, play board games, and watch movies. They enjoyed their adventures in Florida, but are ready to form roots in the community in which her husband grew up.
Dr. Patel has always wanted to be a pediatrician. She loves partnering with parents to help their children grow, learn, and attain their full potential. She cherishes the life-long bond that one forms while caring for children through good health and illness. She is excited to work in such a great community to foster the future generation! She is fluent in Gujarati.

Sometimes, due to technical problems or the fact that the on call doctor is attending to another patient, your call may not be returned within 15 minutes. In this case please contact the page operator again and a doctor will return your call shortly.
During office hours, please call the office at 281-305-5970 and ask to speak to a member of our medical staff.
After hours, please consult Health Topics on our website. If you have further questions or you need to contact one of our doctors, our office recording will give you the number to our page operator.
