Dr. Ellen Mann was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University where she received a degree in Biomedical Sciences. She went on to medical school at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. She completed her residency training at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and during training worked at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, MD Anderson and Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital. After completing residency, she became board certified in pediatrics and stayed on at UT-Houston as Pediatric Chief Resident for one year. In this role, she was a part of resident and medical student education at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital and pediatric clinic. After her Chief Resident year, she joined Blue Fish Pediatrics.
Dr. Mann met her husband, David, as a freshman at Texas A&M. They were married in May of 2013. They welcomed twins, Charlie and Emily, in the summer of 2017 and a daughter, Molly in the summer of 2020. In her free time, Dr. Mann enjoys exploring all of the great restaurants in Houston, cooking, and relaxing at home with her family and her pug, Frank.
Dr. Mann has a passion for helping new (as well as experienced) moms and dads navigate parenthood. She also enjoys working with twins, triplets, and higher order multiples and believes in working together with families to provide the best care possible for their little ones.

Sometimes, due to technical problems or the fact that the on call doctor is attending to another patient, your call may not be returned within 15 minutes. In this case please contact the page operator again and a doctor will return your call shortly.

After hours, please consult Health Topics on our website. If you have further questions or you need to contact one of our doctors, our office recording will give you the number to our page operator.
