Dr. Ellen Mann was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University where she received a degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2009. She went on to medical school at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated in 2013. She completed her residency training at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and during training worked at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, MD Anderson and Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital. After completing residency, she became board certified in pediatrics and stayed on at UT-Houston as Pediatric Chief Resident for one year. In this role, she was a part of resident and medical student education at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital and pediatric clinic. After her Chief Resident year, she joined Blue Fish Pediatrics.
Dr. Mann met her husband, David, as a freshman at Texas A&M. They were married in May of 2013. They welcomed twins, Charlie and Emily, in the summer of 2017. In her free time, Dr. Mann enjoys exploring all of the great restaurants in Houston, cooking, and relaxing at home with her family and her pug, Frank.
Dr. Mann has a passion for helping new (as well as experienced) moms and dads navigate parenthood. She also enjoys working with children who have chronic health problems and believes in working together with families to provide the best care possible for their little ones.
