Dr. David Kim was born and raised in Houston. He attended Memorial High School and graduated from Emory University with a degree in Biology. He earned his medical degree from UT Southwestern in Dallas and completed his pediatric residency at McGovern Medical School. He began his career at McGovern, joining the faculty as a general pediatrician, and practiced there for four years prior to joining Blue Fish in 2023.
Dr. Kim is happily married to his wife, Jessie, and they attend Hanbit Living Water Church together. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, brewing coffee, and outdoor activities with his two dogs. Dr. Kim discovered his interest in medicine after experiencing medical missions as a youth, and he continues to devote time to short-term medical missions around the world. He is grateful to be a pediatrician and is excited to serve his patients and their families in his new home.

If you suspect your child has swallowed medicine or poison, dial 1-800-POISON-1 and contact us at our office TBD. If it is after hours, the office recording will give you the number to our page operator.
Sometimes, due to technical problems or the fact that the on call doctor is attending to another patient, your call may not be returned within 15 minutes. In this case please contact the page operator again and a doctor will return your call shortly.
During office hours, please call the office at 281-305-5970 and ask to speak to a member of our medical staff.
After hours, please consult Health Topics on our website. If you have further questions or you need to contact one of our doctors, our office recording will give you the number to our page operator.
