Dr. Brian Townsend was born in Houston, TX. After a childhood tour in the Midwest and North Texas, his family moved back to Cypress, TX, where he attended high school at Cy-Fair. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University, where he met his wife, Jane. They married shortly before he began his medical education at the University of North Texas Health Science Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Upon graduation of medical school, Dr. Townsend went on to complete his residency in Pediatrics in the largest medical center in the world at UT Houston.
Dr. Townsend is incredibly excited to now provide pediatric care to the community in which he grew up. He enjoys providing the most up-to-date, evidence-based information while partnering with families in caring for their children.
In his free time, Dr. Townsend enjoys playing with his 2 daughters, Claire and Abigail. His family likes to spend time with close-by grandparents, take walks, and do anything together outside. If he had to choose something to do by himself for a weekend, you would find him fly fishing in Colorado.
