Dr. Annalisa Meadows was born in Naperville, Illinois, but moved to Houston during her childhood. She attended Langham Creek High School and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006, where she majored in Biology. She later graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in 2010 and completed her residency training at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio in 2013. Following residency, she received additional training at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in the Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship Program for seven months prior to returning to Houston to practice general pediatrics. She joined Blue Fish Pediatrics in the spring of 2014. She is board certified in pediatrics.
Dr. Meadows met her loving husband, Eric, while in medical school in 2006, and they were happily married in 2010. The Meadows have three boys – James, born in 2013; Luke, born in 2016; and Henry, born in 2021.
As a mother, Dr. Meadows has a passion for newborn care and breastfeeding. Given her additional training in pediatric nephrology, she also has a special interest in children with kidney disease and other chronic illnesses. She welcomes dialysis and transplant patients who are seeking a medical home for their general pediatric needs. She is also dedicated to treating pediatric hypertension.
Dr. Meadows currently attends Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. She enjoys English saddle horseback riding and alpine skiing. She loves her family dearly, and her children are her greatest joy!
