We are very excited to announce that we now have the COVID-19 pediatric vaccine (ages 5-11) in stock. Blue Fish will be one of the many places our patients will be able to receive the vaccine. We will be administering the vaccine primarily through six prescheduled, appointment-only, Saturday COVID-19 pediatric vaccine clinics as follows:

All six dates of our COVID-19 pediatric vaccine clinics will be open to ALL existing Blue Fish patients 5-11yo, regardless of their home office.
In addition to these COVID-19 vaccine clinics, we will also offer COVID-19 vaccines during well child checks (depending on availability) for eligible patients.
Please note that the COVID-19 pediatric vaccine will only be given to existing Blue Fish patients. We are not a public COVID-19 vaccination site.
Please also note that these Saturday COVID-19 pediatric vaccine clinics are replacing Saturday flu clinics that were previously scheduled on some of these dates. Again, all Saturday flu clinics through December 2021 have been cancelled. For those patients who still need their flu vaccine, please call the office to schedule an appointment during regular office hours or go to any of our many local pharmacies that offer the flu vaccine. Flu shots will also be given at all well child checks.
We will be using an online self-scheduling platform exclusively to allow patients to reserve a spot for these Saturday clinics. You will not be able to schedule an appointment for any Saturday COVID-19 pediatric vaccine clinic by phone.
We encourage our patients to also explore other options including the Memorial Hermann and Texas Children’s Hospital systems, pharmacies, and city/county sites to receive either their 1st or 2nd or both vaccines.
The COVID-19 vaccine is a 2-shot series, spaced apart by a minimum of 3 weeks. You can schedule both immunizations for your child at this time (please ensure a minimum 3-week interval between your appointments as the scheduling website will not double-check this) through our scheduling website. If you are unsure about your schedule availability in 3 weeks, please hold off on reserving your second dose at this time. We are confident that you will have many opportunities to finish the series in a timely fashion.
PLEASE NOTE: Our front office staff will confirm that each registrant is a current Blue Fish patient between 5 and 11 years of age. Once you are verified as a Blue Fish patient you will be added to the actual schedule. If your child is not a Blue Fish patient, your reservation will be cancelled via email.
As a courtesy to other families, please only register for as many spots as you need for your child(ren). If you need to, but are unable to, register multiple children in the same time slot, please use the next available time slot. Our front office will do their best to make sure that all patients in one family can be seen at the earliest time registered.

For patients that are 12 and older, please continue to use other vaccination sites. We do not plan on giving the COVID-19 vaccine to patients 12 years and older as it is so easily accessible in the community for this older age group.
