Update: COVID-19 Pediatric Vaccine at Blue Fish

Now that the COVID-19 vaccine has been approved for patients between 5 and 11 years old, we are finalizing preparations to administer the COVID-19 vaccine in our offices to Blue Fish patients in that age group. Please note that it will only be given to existing Blue Fish patients. We are not a public COVID-19 vaccination site.

Once we have the vaccine in stock, we will immediately notify you through all of our channels (Facebook, email, website) when, where and how you can schedule your child’s COVID-19 vaccine. As of now, we plan to schedule Saturday COVID-19 vaccine clinics (dates TBD) at one or more of the following locations:

• Memorial

• Cypress

• Katy

• Greater Heights

These COVID-19 vaccine clinics will be open to all existing Blue Fish patients regardless of home office. In addition to these COVID-19 vaccine clinics, we will also offer COVID-19 vaccines during well visits and as shot-only visits for eligible patients.

Please note that we will not offer COVID-19 vaccine appointments until we have the vaccine in stock. We will send out more details as our plans are solidified.

Again, we ask that you refrain from calling the office concerning the COVID-19 vaccine for younger patients at this time. Everything we know will be communicated through our normal channels.

For patients that are 12 and older, please continue to use other vaccination sites. We do not plan on giving the COVID-19 vaccine to patients 12 years and older as it is so easily accessible in the community for this older age group.
