Ear Piercing Instructions
- Cleanse the front and back of your ears 2-3 times a day by liberally applying rubbing alcohol (or a commercial ear cleaning solution such as Claire’s Ear Care Solution which can be purchased in any Claire’s store in the mall) with a saturated cotton ball or cotton swab, without removing the ear piercing earrings. With each cleaning, gently slide the ear piercing earrings back and forth in your ear so the solution will go inside the piercing. Do this for 1 week.
- Gently rotate the ear piercing earrings a partial turn, both forwards and backwards, 2-3 times/day. Do this for 6 weeks.
- EAR LOBE PIERCINGS: Leave ear piercing earrings in your ear for at least 6 weeks. After 6 weeks, the ear piercing earrings can be removed and other post type earrings can be inserted. Post earrings must be worn at all times for the first 6 months to ensure that your ear piercing will remain the proper size.
- It is recommended to only use high quality gold or silver earrings to prevent any kind of skin reaction to the different metals.
- All studs for the Coren Disposable Ear Piercing System are made of a single piece of surgical grade stainless steel and are plated in 24 carat gold.
- Call Blue Fish Pediatrics if there are any signs of infection such as: tenderness, redness, swelling, discharge, or fever.
