Dear Blue Fish Families,
We are currently preparing to administer the COVID-19 vaccine in our offices to Blue Fish patients 5 to 11 years old. Please note that it will only be given to existing Blue Fish patients. We are not a public COVID-19 vaccination site.
Currently, we do not know when the vaccine will be approved or shipped to our office. However, please be assured that we will do everything we can to vaccinate our vaccine-eligible patients as soon as the vaccine is determined to be safe, effective, and available. Once we have the COVID-19 vaccine in stock, we will notify you when, how, and where you can get the vaccine with postings on our website and via email.
We encourage all Blue Fish families to take advantage of their respective office’s remaining flu clinics (where applicable) as there is a possibility that we will convert future flu clinics to COVID-19 vaccine clinics.
For patients that are 12 and older, please continue to use other vaccination sites. We do not plan on giving the COVID-19 vaccine to patients 12 years and older as it is so easily accessible in the community for this older age group.
Please refrain from calling the office concerning the COVID-19 vaccine for younger patients at this time. Everything we know will be posted on the website.
