Project Description
Dr. Shannon Crane was born in Brooklyn, New York but raised in the Atlanta suburb of Kennesaw, Georgia. She received a bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Georgia in 2007 (Go Dawgs!). It was during rotations as a medical student at the Medical College of Georgia that Dr. Crane fell in love with caring for children and their families.
Upon graduation from medical school in 2011, Dr. Crane moved to Houston for her pediatric residency training at the University of Texas, Houston Health Science Center. Following the completion of her residency training, Dr. Crane had the honor of serving as a Chief Resident at UT Houston from 2014-2015. She is board certified in Pediatrics, and was most recently practicing in the Houston/Pearland area as a community pediatrician. She is passionate about preventative medicine and enjoys maintaining life long relationships with her patients and their families. Dr. Crane joined Blue Fish Pediatrics in July of 2018.
Happy to now call Houston home, Dr. Crane has settled in the Rice Military area with her fur baby, Coco. She enjoys traveling, reading, and jogging (sometimes) as well as spending time with family and friends.
If you would like to become a new patient at Blue Fish Pediatrics, please fill out our New Patient Application.
