Dr. McCorvey-Lofton was born and raised in Houston, TX. She attended Michael E. DeBakey High School for the Health Professions and went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University. She is a proud member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2007. Her love for children sparked her desire for a career in pediatrics. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston in 2015. She is a board certified pediatrician. She joined Blue Fish in the summer of 2015.
Dr. McCorvey-Lofton has served on medical missions to Belize and El Paso, TX and she looks forward to continuing to serve families both locally and abroad. She is the proud “mom” of an adorable beagle named Bootsy and believes that the only thing cuter than her pup are her patients.
