Dr. McCorvey-Lofton was born and raised in Houston, TX. She attended Michael E. DeBakey High School for the Health Professions and went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University. She is a proud member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2007. Her love for children sparked her desire for a career in pediatrics. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston (now McGovern Medical School) in 2015. She is a board certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She joined the Blue Fish family in the summer of 2015.
Dr. McCorvey-Lofton has served on medical missions to Belize and El Paso, TX and she looks forward to continuing to serve families both locally and abroad. She and her husband were married in June of 2019 and they welcomed their daughter Roslyn in May of 2020.
Dr. McCorvey-Lofton enjoys working with families to help better understand how to care for their little blessings. In her spare time, she enjoys working out and doing crafts and projects around the house.
