Dr. Farah McCorvey-Lofton

Dr. Farah McCorvey-Lofton, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician with more than 10 years of experience caring for children from tiny newborns to thriving teens. She attended Texas A&M University at College Station where she earned her B.S. in Biomedical Sciences. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed her pediatric residency at UT Houston Health Sciences Center (now UT Health Houston McGovern Medical School) where she received extensive training in both primary care and acute pediatric medicine. She is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and continues to pursue ongoing education to provide the highest quality care.

As a dedicated parent herself, Dr. McCorvey-Lofton understands the challenges and joys of raising children and approaches each visit with empathy, patience, and a sense of partnership. She values open communication and works collaboratively with families to make the best decisions for their child’s health. She believes that strong, trusting connections between doctor and family are the foundation of excellent pediatric care.

Whether it’s your baby’s first check-up or a teen’s big questions—Dr. McCorvey-Lofton views every encounter as an opportunity to listen carefully, provide personalized guidance, and empower families with the knowledge and support they need to help their children thrive.

Her areas of focus include preventive care, early childhood development, and creating a comfortable, welcoming environment where children feel confident and safe and parents feel heard and supported.

Outside of her practice, Dr. McCorvey-Lofton enjoys spending quality time with her own family, working out, volunteering in her community and traveling.
