Dr. Theodora (Dorina) Mucher is a native Houstonian. She attended Memorial High School and then went on to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology at Rice University in 1996. She began her medical training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she met her husband Zachary, now a practicing urologist in Houston. After medical school she moved to Dallas, where she completed her residency in Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Dallas. After residency she began private practice in Dallas, then moved to California when her husband received Air Force orders to report to active duty. While in California she cared for the children of the active duty families at Travis Air Force Base. After four years in California, Dr. Mucher and her family moved back to Houston for good. Dr. Mucher has three beautiful boys. Most of her free time is spent managing their busy lives and extracurricular events. Whenever possible she loves to travel abroad and is active in her church.
Dr. Mucher loves to care for children of all ages, and works to foster a strong relationship with her patients and their families. She is a patient listener and a gifted advisor when dealing with health and social issues of children.

In the event of an emergency, dial 911 and then contact us at our office (281) 855-3700. If it is after hours, the office recording will give you the number to our page operator.
If you suspect your child has swallowed medicine or poison, dial 1-800-POISON-1 and contact us at our office (281) 855-3700. If it is after hours, the office recording will give you the number to our page operator.
Sometimes, due to technical problems or the fact that the on call doctor is attending to another patient, your call may not be returned within 15 minutes. In this case please contact the page operator again and a doctor will return your call shortly.
During office hours, please call the office (281) 855-3700 and ask to speak to a nurse.
After hours, please consult Health Topics on our website. If you have further questions or you need to contact one of our doctors, our office recording will give you the number to our page operator.

- Messages received in the morning during office hours (8:30 AM to 12:00 noon) will be returned by lunch time (12:00 noon to 2:00 PM).

- Messages received after hours will be returned by noon the following business day.
