Project Description
Dr. Sheridan Schulte grew up in Houston in the Memorial area where she went to the Kinkaid school. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from DePauw University in Indiana with majors in Biochemistry and History and minors in French and European Studies. After college, she moved to Ecuador for a semester to teach English while improving her Spanish. She then attended McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas while obtaining her Master of Public Health with an emphasis on maternal and child health.
Dr. Schulte moved to Denver, Colorado where she completed her pediatrics residency at the University of Colorado, which she completed in in 2024. During her residency, Dr. Schulte was an active member of the global health pathway, completing rotations in Guatemala and Puerto Rico.
Dr. Schulte married her husband in 2021, Gabriel, a geophysicist originally from Puerto Rico. They welcomed their first daughter, Olivia, in 2023. Becoming a mother has been her greatest joy, and she loves helping families navigate the everyday successes and challenges of parenthood. Dr. Schulte is passionate about breastfeeding medicine, infant and toddler development, early childhood education, and adolescent healthcare. In her spare time, Dr. Schulte enjoys traveling the world, hiking, camping, and spending time outdoors with her family.
Dr. Schulte is thrilled to join the Blue Fish Heights family. It has long been her dream to provide preventive medicine, develop long-lasting relationships with her patients, and watch them mature into young adults.
Dr. Schulte will begin seeing patients at our Greater Heights location on December, 9, 2024.
